All teams in North Texas are expected to join and play in one of the nine available leagues. As of the 2022-2023 POWERPLAY season, Qualifiers are only a supplementary event type in North Texas that are designed primarily for teams with special circumstances.
Qualifier - Invitation Priority List
Teams that require a REMOTE option.
Rookie teams who registered for the season late with FIRST, thereby preventing League membership.
Teams who had a supply-chain shortage, thereby preventing League membership.
Teams who did not get an opportunity to play in a League before the third meet.
Teams who did not advance at their League Tournament, but have merit in getting an additional chance.*
Teams who did advance at their League Tournament.
* Teams in this predicament will need to fill out a rigorous application. First come, first serve while space is available.
